Genève, 10 juillet 2009 - L'Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie a adopté une résolution réaffirmant l'engagement des pays francophones en faveur de la riposte au sida.
Geneva, 10 July 2009 - The Assembly of parliamentarians of Francophone countries have adopted a resolution reaffirming their commitment to the AIDS response. The resolution, which was adopted during their annual assembly which was held from 3 to 6 July 2009 in Paris, gave a strong message that Francophone parliamentarians are continuing to put AIDS high on the agenda and push the response forward in their countries and beyond.
"I am encouraged to see this level of leadership from Francophone countries to the AIDS response," said Michel Sidibé, Executive Director of UNAIDS.
