Brazzaville, Congo (PANA) - School enrolment levels in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) are rising sharply because of increasing investment and end of a bitter civil war in the country, a top government education official said Wednesday.

DR Congo's Primary and Secondary Education Minister, Maker Mwangu Famba, told PANA on the sidelines of a conference of African education ministers here, that school enrolment in the country had risen by 50 percent since 2007.
