26 septembre 2010 - En marge de la 65ème Assemblée générale de l'ONU, le Secrétaire général, Ban Ki-moon, s'est entretenu samedi avec le Président rwandais, Paul Kagame.

Le Secrétaire général a remercié Paul Kagame pour son implication personnelle dans la promotion des progrès vers la réalisation des Objectifs du Millénaire pour le développement (OMD) et pour son travail à la coprésidence du Groupe de mobilisation pour ces objectifs.

26 September 2010 - Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon today had a meeting with Rwanda President Paul Kagame, on the sidelines of the General Assembly''s high-level debate, during which they discussed a range of issues, including maternal and child health.

Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon announced today that he will continue discussions with Rwanda's President on a soon-to-be released United Nations report on serious human rights violations committed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Mr. Ban wrapped up a two-day visit to Kigali yesterday, during which he met with President Paul Kagame, Foreign Minister Louise Mushikiwabo and other senior officials to discuss Rwanda's concerns over the report.
