Ottawa -- Canada, through the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), will increase its emergency food aid package to respond to extraordinary food relief requests, the Honourable Diane Marleau, Minister for International Cooperation and Minister responsible for La Francophonie, announced today. The new food aid package is expected to reach over 850,000 people, around the world, who are in emergency situations.
