Ndalatando - A donation comprising several foodstuff for the Angolans expelled from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), who have been assembled at Damba shelter centre, shall be transported this Tuesday to northern Uije province, ANGOP has learnt.

The donation comprises rice, sugar, cooking oil, wheat and used clothes, and was made available by the Diocese Caritas of northern Kwanza Norte province.

Caxito - At least 97 families of Bengo origin returned to the province on Sunday evening, from Zaire province, after being expelled from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Kuito - About seven fields were cleared of landmines and explosive devices in central Bie, during the third quarter of this year by the British Non Government Organization, The Hallo Trust.

While assessing on Monday in Kuito city, the activities carried out by the NGO, its operation chief, João Baptista, underlined that were demined camps in the municipalities of Kunhinga, Katabola and Andulo.
