For each of these events, a brief description, followed by public health measures implemented and an interpretation of the situation is provided.

Au 30 novembre 2019, le nombre total des réfugiés et demandeurs d'asile est de 7,480. Cette population est composée de 37% de Congolais (RDC), 23% de Tchadiens, 30% de Sud Soudanais, 5% de Soudanais et 4% des autres nationalités. Elle est composée à 51 % de femmes et 49% d'hommes. Les enfants représentent 59% contre 38% d'adultes et 3% de personnes âgées. 45% des réfugiés sont dans la Préfecture du Haut Mbomou, 19% dans BaminguiBangoran, 33% à Bangui et 3% dans la Ouaka.

As of 31 October 2019, 890,044 Congolese refugees are being hosted in African countries. From 1 January to 31 October 2019 alone, some 84,221 Congolese fled to neighboring countries, with a particularly significant increase in refugee flows to Uganda.

UNHCR together with 63 humanitarian and development partners launched the revised 2019-2020 Regional Refugee Response Plan (RRRP) on 30 June 2019 to help respond to the needs of Congolese refugees in Africa.

The first organised convoy of voluntary repatriation of Congolese refugees from Angola left Lòvua settlement for DRC on 9 October. As of 31 October, 844 persons were voluntarily repatriated to DRC in three convoys to Tshikapa and Kamonia, Kasai Province. 4,127 Central African refugees confirmed their intention to voluntarily return to the Central African Republic (CAR) from Sud Ubangi Province. Among them, 3,444 wished to return immediately. UNHCR will start repatriations in November.
