DAR ES SALAAM, 19 November (IRIN) - The Republic of Congo (ROC) was recently suspended from the worldwide initiative to control the sale of rough diamonds, known as the Kimberly Process. Diamonds are widely seen as having fuelled conflicts in the central Africa region.
