  1. Mrs. Sadako Ogata, Prime Minister's Special Representative for Assistance to Afghanistan, will visit Afghanistan from July 5 (Sat) to 14 (Mon) to review the situation in the country and see how assistance has been implemented, and also to study how the international community should assist Afghanistan and what assistance policy Japan should take.

    2. During her stay in Afghanistan, Mrs. Ogata will have talks with those concerned in the Government of Afghanistan, international organizations such as the U.N. and major donor countries, and others.
