How to find jobs that best suit you
Visit the ReliefWeb Jobs page to look for a job that best fits your interest and qualifications. Using the left-hand side filters, you can narrow down your job search by countries, hiring organizations, career categories, years of experience, etc. You can use as many filters as you want in order to narrow down your search.
Here are a few examples to further assist you in your job search:
Case 1: If you have extensive experience in the “Water Sanitation Hygiene” sector and you are seeking full-time Senior Management positions in South Sudan, you may want to apply the following filters to your search:
- Select "Job" under Type
- Select "Programme/Project Management" under Career Categories
- Select "10+ years" or "5-10 years", as applicable
- Select "Water Sanitation Hygiene" under Theme
- Select "South Sudan" under Country
You may further narrow your search by filtering options for Organization and/or Organization Type.
Case 2: If you are a fresh graduate with a background in Education and looking for a job in East Africa, you may narrow your search by doing the following:
- Select "Job" under Type
- Select "0-3 years" under Experience
- Select "Education" under Theme
- Select "Eastern Africa" under Region
Case 3: If you are a stay-at-home parent with relevant experience in Social Media and/or Journalism looking for a job with flexible working arrangement, you may narrow your search by doing the following:
- Select "Media/Communications" under Career Category
- Select "Unspecified" under Job location
Please note that you may search for jobs that are “home-based” or "roving" by filtering "Unspecified" under Job location.
