HUMANITARIAN SITUATION AND NEEDS

Situation in Libya

• The UN team has warned of public health threats in Tripoli with the potential outbreak of infectious diseases (a measles outbreak has already been reported) and a deterioration of food security. For the moment, there is no UN presence in the city due to security concerns.

• The Dhibat/Wazin border remains open and humanitarian partners are able to access and provide assistance to the Nafusa Mountains as far as Yafran via this border crossing.
