Aleppo has suffered from fierce violence and protracted conflict since mid 2012, leaving much of the city destroyed. This is the first Governorate profile published by the Syria Needs Analysis Project.

The updated Regional Analysis of the Syria Conflict (RAS) provides a coherent analysis of the overall humanitarian situation in the region as well as in each of the affected countries.
