You Promised
Description: One year ago world leaders made a promise to Syrian children who had been forced to flee their homes and schools. A promise that their futures wouldn't be abandoned. A promise of education. A promise for the funding to make it happen. More than half of these children are back in the classroom but the other half... well, they're still waiting. Make world leaders keep their promise. Share this video and send them a message here: theirworld.org/youpromised

#RewritingTheCode
Description: Why don’t girls around the world have equal access to education? Why don’t women have equal pay and equal opportunity in the workplace? Embedded values start before a girl is even born and shape the world around her. The objective of the #RewritingTheCode campaign is to change attitudes and behaviours that prevent girls and women from succeeding and leading, and fullling their full potential. Through the campaign we can help rewrite the future for a generation of women by making this the moment we help change embedded values. We want a future where no girl is left out of the classroom, the boardroom or the conversation – we want girls to become future leaders.

You Promised - Aasir
Description: "Education is everything in life." Aasir, 12, is delighted to be in school for the first time 5 years. In February, world leaders promised to get every Syrian refugee child back into school this year. But 1 million children like Aasir are still out of school: much of the money simply hasn't arrived. These leaders are meeting on Wednesday: before they do, send them a message today and tell them to keep their promise: www.aworldatschool.org/keepthepromise There's no excuse: 12 year olds shouldn't be working 10 hours a day. Promises to children shouldn't be broken. And every child deserves the chance to go to school and plan for a better future. Help us caption & translate this video! http://amara.org/v/Vq9Z/

You Promised
Description: If you agree with the message of this film, please consider sharing it and joining the thousands who have helped send these children’s messages to world leaders here: http://awrld.at/2aAlBfF In February world leaders made a historic promise to get every Syrian refugee in school. Six months on, we are on the brink of a broken promise to almost one million Syrian children at risk of child labour, early marriage and vulnerable to extremist groups. Last week over 10,000 messages were sent to world leaders demanding that they keep their promise to Yalla, Abdulghafour, and hundreds of thousands of children like them. One week later we still do not see action. Help us caption & translate this video! http://amara.org/v/UTIt/

Safe Schools: children can no longer wait ft Yomi Sode , Dynamo & Laura Carmichael
Description: This new film features actor Laura Carmichael and Magician Dynamo delivering a poem, written by artist Yomi 'GREEdS' Sode' using the voices of young people around the world to send a powerful message that children trapped in conflicts and natural disasters need safe schools. Act now to protect the most vulnerable children in the world by signing the Safe School petition at aworldatschool.org/safeschools The film, has been released as part of Theirworld’s Safe Schools campaign a week ahead of the first ever World Humanitarian Summit. The campaign calls on world leaders attending the summit to immediately launch a new fund that ensures children return to school quickly in the aftermath of an emergency. In 2015, humanitarian emergencies and crisis affected the education of more than 75 million children and young people. Children that are out of school are being trapped into child labour, early marriage and other forms of exploitation. Yet, last year, less than 2% of humanitarian aid went to get children back into school. The film was by Upshot Entertainment.
