This document sets out the UN policy framework for the elaboration of an organisational workplan for the integration of refugee women into programming and project activities. For this purpose, it considers the following aspects:

With women and their dependents constituting 80% of beneficiaries of UNHCR programmes, the present policy framework is an important step in UNHCR's aim to provide protection to refugees

1. ARTHUR, SECOND TROPICAL DEPRESSION OF 1990 ATLANTIC SEASON, HIT TOBAGO AND GRENADA 25 JULY WITH WINDS UP TO 45 MPH AND MOVING WEST ACROSS CARIBBEAN SEA. SLOWLY STRENGTHENING.

2. UNDRO DELEGATE (PCDPPP(+) PROJECT MANAGER), BASED ANTIGUA AND MONITORING SITUATION FROM EARLY STAGES, REPORTS FOLLOWING DAMAGE:

3. A MAJOR BRIDGE ON MAJOR ROAD COLLAPSED. ELECTRICITY AND WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM WIDELY DISRUPTED. SEVERAL LANDSLIDES OCCURRED.

1. USGS REPORTS EARTHQUAKE MEASURING 7.7 ON RICHTER SCALE HIT LUCON ISLAND, PHILIPPINES, ON 16 JULY 1990 AT 16.30 LT PRELIMINARY EPICENTER 15,6 DEGREES NORTH, 121,0 DEGREES EAST, DEPTH SHALLOW.

2. EARLY REPORTS SAY DAMAGE WORST IN CITIES NORTH OF MANILA, WITH MAJOR DAMAGE IN CABANATUAN CITY AND BAGUIO. AMATEUR RADIO STATION IN BAGUIO REPORTS ALL HIGH BUILDINGS COLLAPSED. AT PRESENT NO PRECISE REPORTS ON LOSS OF LIFE.

2. FLOODS STARTED DURING THE NIGHT OF 27 JUNE DUE TO HEAVY
TORRENTIAL RAINS. INFORMATION RECEIVED ON 9 JULY FROM VIETNAMESE
CENTRAL COMMITTEE ON TYPHOONS AND FLOODS REPORTED LOSSES/DAMAGES
AS FOLLOWS:
