Aim: The Safety for Female Travellers Course prepares you to deal with sexual harassment when working and travelling abroad.

You gain insight in the impact of culture and gender relations. The course raises your awareness of the choices you have in dealing with these relations. You learn to verbally and physically communicate clearly and appropriately in case of sexual harassment.

Aim: The Basic Safety and Security Course Light prepares you for working and travelling in low risk areas.

You learn and practice the skills needed to operate safely in dangerous areas. This will give you a rational attitude and self-confidence, thus increasing your personal and professional effectiveness in the field.

Method: Strong emphasis on interaction and practical exercises. Simulations are an integrated part of the training. The training is conducted in a safe learning environment.

Participants: NGO staff working and/or travelling in low risk areas.
