3 Irish Universities, NUI Maynooth, DCU and RSCI have joined forces to develop a new MSc in Humanitarian Logistics and Emergency Management. The programme is endorsed by the Irish Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (Irish Aid) and the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government and is designed for practitioners in the management of humanitarian disasters and major emergencies. It is aimed at practitioners in public, private and voluntary sectors who are engaged in Humanitarian Logistics & Emergency Management.

Introduction:

Developed to meet the need for robust, cost effective and risk appropriate Personal Security and First Aid Training for staff in the field, and travelling from HQ, these intensive courses offer a markedly different approach; with hugely experienced and charismatic hand picked training staff (from the NGO sector) in a fantastic rural, fully contained, training venue close to London and the major airports.
