This course is open to all humanitarian personnel who work on communications towers and platforms.

WHY THIS TRAINING

Current practices in resource mobilization within public, private sectors and Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have put a lot of emphasis on the need to peg planning and allocation of resources to evidence-based research. This has led to increased funding to research initiatives that include a variety of baseline surveys, Socio-Economic Surveys, Demographic and Health Surveys, Nutrition Surveys, Food Security Surveys, Program Evaluation Surveys, Employees, customers and vendor satisfaction surveys, and opinion polls among others.

GIS in Logistics and Transportation

A GIS is a collection of computer hardware, software, and geographic data for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying all forms of geographically referenced information. Choosing sites, targeting market segments, planning distribution networks, responding to emergencies are all problems that involve questions of geography and are all relevant to organizations, businesses and government.

INTRODUCTION

The Census and Survey Processing System (CSPro) is a public domain software package used by hundreds of organizations and tens of thousands of individuals for entering, editing, tabulating, and disseminating census and survey data. CSPro is designed to be as user-friendly as possible, yet powerful enough to handle the most complex applications. It can be used by a wide range of people, from non-technical staff assistants to senior demographers and programmers.

The participants will know the integrated knowledges, skills and experiences on disaster management. ADPC would like to invite the government officials responsible for disaster management policy and plans, international NGOs, NGOs involved in the area of disaster risk reduction and every person who need to enhance their knowledge, skill and experience regarding to disaster management. Objectives: The HPM programme contributes to reinforce & develop managers' core capacities (managing projects, people and funds) in a practical, coherent & transversal way integrating the main worldwide quality & accountability initiatives developed in recent years.
