The overall objective of the HEAT course is to prepare participants to understand and react to safety and security issues in hostile and/or hazardous environments. Participants will be trained to recognize and avoid potential threats and respond appropriately.

The course covers the basic concepts, terminology, and tools of project management used by NGOs.
