Fundraising for prospective institutional donors for human rights programs can be an overwhelming process and many NGOs don’t know where to start. This webinar will discuss some basic approaches to effectively target grant funding from foundations, governments, and multilateral donors. Participants will gain basic knowledge and tools to develop strategies that lead to success in fundraising for their human rights programs.

The course will give staff deploying or travelling to higher-risk countries preparation for managing their own security, mitigating the risks they encounter, and giving them the tools to use should something go wrong.

Westminster University is running its annual 5 day Nutrition in Emergencies short course between 1st – 5th July. The course is aimed at staff of UN agencies, NGOs and National Ministries of Health in countries that are regularly affected by emergencies. Health workers, nutritionists, doctors, nurses as well as programme managers are encouraged to apply as well to get an update of the current standards and practices in nutrition in emergencies training.
