Attachments

Hajjah Governorate is characterised by food insecurity and high rates of malnutrition. It hosts more than 80,000 displaced people from neighboring districts and Sa'ada Governorate. An estimated 65,000 people have returned to their original villages in Sa’ada, although most of them still commute to Haradh to receive services. In addition to migrants from the Horn of Africa, who are stranded in Haradh, about 258,000 Yemeni migrant workers returned from Saudi Arabia through Al Tuwal border point since June 2013. More are expected to address their needs, humanitarian assistance provided by various actors remains critical.
