Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC) signed the Agreement for Phase II of the Disaster Risk Reduction Initiatives on National and Regional Level in Asia. Through the agreement MFA Norway is providing financial support to promote and implement initiatives for reduction of disaster vulnerability for prevention of loss of lives and damage to properties, human settlements and critical facilities in the Asia region during the period of June 2012 to December 2014.
