Cluster Coordination Guidelines

CCCM 'Guide to the Guidelines' increases level of field support.

In order to increase CCCM's level of field support and knowledge-sharing, a CCCM “Guide to the Guidelines” was created to provide CCCM Cluster Coordinators with information on the Cluster approach, CCCM Cluster structure and the activities and responsibilities associated with Cluster Coordination.

Specific references to existing guidelines or documents were chosen to take the Cluster Coordinator straight to the most recent (at time of writing) or most comprehensive information on the topic concerned. A set of tools and templates has been collected to assist Cluster Coordinators on topics such as information management, developing camp management strategies, sit reps, site planning and other technical areas.

Some of these tools are drafts and offered only as guidance, and Cluster Coordinators are given the possibility to adapt to the appropriate context when needed.

Given the challenging situations in which some of the Cluster Coordinators are working, the Guide to the Guidelines has been designed in such a way that it is not only free to access on the global CCCM Cluster website, but that it is also easily accessible even in locations and operations with limited internet connectivity.

Find the Guide here.
