Since 2011, the Emergency Relief Coordinator has allocated over US$1.2 billion from the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) to support life- saving humanitarian activities to assist millions of people forced from their homes by violence and instability. More than $842 million has been allocated for response to internal displacement and refugee-related crises through CERF’s Rapid Response Window, while almost $365 million has been allocated through the Underfunded Emergencies Window.
