Bang Saphan Hospital to reopen today after flood

PRACHUAB KHIRI KHAN, 13 January 2017 (NNT) - Bang Saphan Hospital staff and soldiers have begun moving medical equipment back into the hospital after the flood water has been drained.

In Prachuab Khiri Khan, Bang Saphan Hospital staff and the soldiers started cleaning the medical equipment as the hospital is expected to resume its operation on Friday. The electrical system at the Out Patient Building has now been fully restored.

However, only out-patient and emergency services will be available when the hospital reopens while the In-Patient Building will be ready in another two weeks as system repairs are still underway. In Chumphon province, a big cleaning activity was launched in the municipality to remove debris on the road.

Provincial authorities are also prepared for another round of heavy rain as affected areas are likely to be flooded again.

Meanwhile, the State Railway of Thailand revealed that the railway in Kantang district of Trang province had already been repaired. Both normal and express train services to Kantang Station will operate as usual.
