Newly arrived displaced households were reported in ZamZam Camp.

South Darfur

- Background

Heavy fighting has taken place in the East Jebel Mara (EJM) area since early February and is ongoing. The Humanitarian Country Team and UNAMID are monitoring the situation and working to gain access for agencies to assess the humanitarian situation.

Newly displaced households from the EJM, Kass and Yara areas were reported to have arrived in Kalma Camp between 26 April and 3 May. An assessment of needs is pending.

Inter-tribal fighting between 26 April and 3 May has led to displacements in the Unity locality.

Cross border fighting displaced households in Buram.

Returnee households were reported to have arrived in Muhajeria by IOM.

WEST DARFUR

- Background

Conflict in the Marra region displaced households to Sector VII North Camp in Nertiti.

Tribal Conflict in Zalingei displaced households to Hasa Hisa camp.
