HIGHLIGHTS

• Government security forces and the UN have warned of threats of carjacking and abductions targeting UN and international NGO vehicles and international staff members in Nyala town, South Darfur.

• The Government of Sudan and the humanitarian arm of SPLM-N have agreed to a detailed plan of vaccinating 165,000 children under five in SPLM-N areas in South Kordofan and Blue Nile.

• About 21,000 people – out of 63,000 – have returned to their places of origin in North and South Kordofan, according to HAC and VRRC.

• ECHO contributes €17 million (US$22 million) to support WFP activities in Sudan
