HIGHLIGHTS

  • Almost 70,000 people have been displaced following inter-tribal conflict in Jebel Amir gold mining area, North Darfur.

  • Some 3,000 people from Jebel Marra flee to IDP camps in North Darfur.

  • Phase II of the yellow fever vaccination campaign reached 1.1 million people in Darfur.

  • The first senior-level UN mission to Abyei from Khartoum since May 2011 takes place.
