Sudan: High Flood Risk

Amounts of rains between (10 – 40mm) is expected to cover almost all parts of the country in the coming few days. Grater Darfur states in particular will receive huge amount of rain which may caused flash flood in the states and the surrounded areas. Issues such as preparedness, awareness and precautions must seriously consider. On the other hand, large rainy clouds are seen around both Ethiopian and Eritrean plateau, (Look to the image) which may increase the level of the water in the Blue Nile.
