Wet condition is forecasted to continue prevailing over the Ethiopian and Eritrean plateau for the coming 3 days as shown by the model above. Blue Nile water level remains stable at high water level during the coming 3 days. Gradual water level is expected to keep rising down stream along the main River Nile. Water levels along the main River Nile and tributaries will remain at high risk level as the seasonal peak of flood is approaching.

Flash floods continue endangering areas prone to flash floods in Greater Darfur , Greater Kordofan Blue Nile, White Nile, Jonglie, Greater Bahr Al-Ghazal, and Central Equatoria state, butane plains as well as Khartoum states. Precautionary and preparatory measures must be taken to avert disastrous impacts on people, crops and other properties.
