Nyala (15 Aug .) - An Italian aid worker named Fransesco Azzara, working for the italian NGO named EMERGENCY was kidnapped yesterday in Nyala, South Darfur. The victim was in car with two Sudanese colleagues driving to the airport when four unidentified armed men, dressed in civilian clothes, but armed with AK47s, stopped them. The perpetrators forced all occupants out of the vehicle and took the International staff member with them. The local authorities are investigating the case.
