HIGHLIGHTS

• Three Sudanese aid workers who were abducted in Kutum, North Darfur last month were freed after 32 days in captivity.

• About 34,000 new IDPs in Um Dukhun and Mukjar localities in Central Darfur need humanitarian assistance, according to aid agencies.

• An estimated 2,000 people have been displaced to El Lait locality, North Darfur from East Darfur.

• UNHCR estimates that the number of South Sudanese refugees in Sudan will reach 165,000 people by the end of 2014.
