Ardamata camp (1 May.) - Around 28,000 displaced people at Ardamata camp are suffering from shortages of drinking water after organisations providing water support stopped the service from a lack of funds.
A camp activist told Radio Dabanga the organsiations stopped providing the water pumps with fuel and spare parts, asking families to contribute one pound a day to keep the three running.
He said the organisation met with the office for humanitarian aid in El Geneina stating it cannot provide anymore services to displaced people.
He also appealed to humanitarian organisations and bodies to act immediately to alleviate the crisis.
