Over 175,000 people from Sudan have sought safety in South Sudan. Waterborne diseases are still a cause for serious concern in refugee camps in Upper Nile.
Persisting insecurity in Jonglei State hampers humanitarian access as some displaced people arrive in Pibor town.
Seasonal rains continue as response is underway to about 260,000 flood-affected people in need of humanitarian assistance.
