Over 3,000 people have travelled to the Abyei area since September. Vulnerable individuals receive emergency assistance in transit areas in Abyei town and other locations.
More than 7,500 families in Gumuruk in Jonglei State’s Pibor County received household items and water supplies. Registration and aid distributions resumed in Pibor town.
Aid agencies have assessed some 150,000 people as having been affected by flooding in eight states. So far, partners have assisted nearly 91,300 people.
