Highlights

  • An assessment in Gumuruk, Jonglei State finds acute needs for food, household items, clean water, sanitation and protection. Partners prepare to respond to an estimated 19,000 people.

  • The Central Emergency Response Fund allocates US$6 million for food aid, water, sanitation and hygiene supplies and nutrition support in Pibor County.

  • Nyeel refugee camp in Unity State will close by end of August, with refugees relocated to Ajoung Thok.
