HIGHLIGHTS

  • The UN Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) gave aid agencies in South Sudan US5.4 million to strengthen life-saving medical capacity and transport services to assist people affected by ongoing hostilities in Jonglei.

  • Insecurity persisted in Jonglei State’s Pibor with most civilians displaced.

  • Aid organizations visited Boma and Mewun, Jonglei State to assess the situation, three weeks after they temporarily suspended operations due to insecurity
