South Sudan Humanitarian Bulletin 27 May - 2 June 2013
The UN Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF) gave aid agencies in South Sudan US5.4 million to strengthen life-saving medical capacity and transport services to assist people affected by ongoing hostilities in Jonglei.
Insecurity persisted in Jonglei State’s Pibor with most civilians displaced.
Aid organizations visited Boma and Mewun, Jonglei State to assess the situation, three weeks after they temporarily suspended operations due to insecurity
