Situation overview

• Over 55,000 people were reached with food assistance in four locations in Pibor County. Some 3,800 families have received household items and clean water.

• Around 27,000 people needed assistance due to fl ooding in Northern Bahr el Ghazal, Unity, Upper Nile, Warrap and Western Bahr el Ghazal states.

• The number of returnees in Renk, Upper Nile, dropped to 11,900 following a biometric registration. Thirty-seven per cent of the returnees are willing to take part in upcoming movements to final destinations.

• Protection projects were only 22 per cent funded, forcing partners to reduce targets and narrow the geographic focus of programmes.
