HIGHLIGHTS

  • An assessment identified over 13,000 people affected by the 18 May cattle raid in Ulang County, Upper Nile State.

  • Over 19,000 people have fled hostilities in Jonglei State into neighbouring countries in 2013 and around 6,000 of these were registered between 7 and 24 May.

  • Relocation of refugees from Jamam to Kaya refugee camp in Upper Nile continued with over 8,800 refugees making the move to the new camp.
