Somalia Consolidated Apeal 2013 - 2015

The revised Somalia Consolidated Appeal (CAP) 2013 had as of 31 August 2013 received US$418.64 million (36 per cent) of the requested $1.15 billion. This includes $29.28 million carryover from 2012.

The funding levels per cluster remains low, ranging between 22 per cent (multisector) and 50 per cent (enabling programmes). If the funding levels do not improve in the fourth quarter of 2013, the humanitarian situation for 870,000 people in crisis and emergency, and 2.3 million vulnerable people is likely to deteriorate due to lack of sustained support.
