MAIN ISSUES DURING THE REPORTING PERIOD
Overall, the security situation in Somalia continues to be tense. There were several reports of Al-Shabaab attacks in Mogadishu. Somaliland and Puntland experienced relative stability.
There were several reports of displacement of populations following the military activities by pro-TFG forces in south central Somalia. In Afgoye alone, 18,000 individuals reportedly fled to Mogadishu.
