PRISTINA, Yugoslavia, Oct 30 (AFP) - International aid agencies said Friday they will send three humanitarian aid convoys to different regions of the troubled Kosovo province.

The UN refugee agency (UNHCR), the World Food Programme (WFP) and some non-government aid agencies will send convoys carrying food, hygiene kits and other necessities for southern regions around Suva reka, Kisna reka and the central Kosovo town of Glogovac, Anthea Webb of the WFP told AFP.

On Monday and Tuesday, eight aid convoys were sent to the central, southwest and northern parts of the province.

International aid officials said that the humanitarian situation in Kosovo was improving after Serb forces pulled out from many regions, allowing displaced persons to return to their villages.
