Two teams of volunteers arrived in Krasnodar Territory to participate in refurbishment

At present, while all search-and-rescue operations are mainly completed, the closest attention is paid to restoration of life-line services in affected towns and villages.

On 9 July 2 teams of 40 volunteer rescuers of the All-Russian non-governmental organization Russian union of Rescuers arrived in the region hit by the natural disaster.

The volunteer rescuers were trained by the Russian Union of Rescuers under basic training programs of EMERCOM. They are equipped with special vehicles and equipment. The groups consist of trained and certified rescuers and volunteers trained to remove debris. Part of the group of volunteer rescuers is specialists in underwater searches and search-and-rescue operations.

The work of volunteers on the site is coordinated by EMERCOM of Russia.
