Recovery operations ongoing in Krymsk district
As of 23 July 2012 power and gas supply systems are fully restored in Krymsk district.
50 operations centers with meal and water provision stations continue their operation. In all they have distributed 272,434 portions, (over 24 hours – 19,400 portions), 1,812,430 liters of water (over 24 hours – 115,900 liters).
Washing has been arranged in 16 washing stations (in decontamination-shower trailers), in all, 18,708 people, including 677 children, have been washed, (over 24 hours – 3,028 people, including 35 children).
2,055 tons of litter has been taken away from streets and courtyards, in all – 136,079 tons.
8,853 cubic meters of debris have been removed, over 24 hours – 230 cubic meters.
On people’s requests water has been pumped out of 70 houses, in all – of 6,458 houses.
Places where dead animals and birds were detected with the area of 109 sq. meters have been disinfected.
The total area of disinfected territory from the beginning of the operations amounts to 44,767 sq. meters.
People are being vaccinated. In all, 170,607 people have been vaccinated (over 24 hours – 4,766), including 30,701 children.
EMERCOM mobile hospital continues operating. Help has been rendered to 451 people (53 people over 24 hours).
20 EMERCOM psychologists have provided psychological aid in 137 cases, in all – in 11,942 cases.
Hot lines have received 5,761 calls (62 calls over 24 hours), measures are taken for all calls.
Psychological aid has been provided to the relatives of the killed, in all – 100 families.
2,429 people, including 1,815 children:
220 elderly people;
147 disabled people;
1,640 children;
97 pregnant women;
175/150 children with mothers
have been sent to sanatoriums of Krasnodar Territory for rehabilitation.
Financial assistance to the people
Since 09.07.2012 the affected people in Krymsk have been receiving lump-sum payouts.
In accordance with the Presidential order 3.8 billion rubles has been allocated for compensation. 16 centers of financial assistance are operating (prepared to operate) (9 stationary, 7 mobile).
Altogether there have been effected 57,814 payouts with a total sum of 3,069, 580,000 rubles (from federal budget – 2,150,980,000 rubles, from budget of the Territory – 918,600,000 rubles).
21 stationary and 2 mobile information stations continue informing the people.
Altogether 18,466 people and 2,446 units of equipment, including 5,361 people and 619 units of equipment form Emergency Ministry are involved in eliminating the aftermath of flash floods.
