Typhoon Bopha Situation Report No. 3 (as of 6 December 2012)
Highlights
The Philippines‟ emergency response operation has scaled up to respond to multiple locations traversed by Typhoon Bopha (locally known as Pablo) in Mindanao, Visayas and Luzon.
Bopha has cleared land and will exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the morning of 7 December.
The death toll has risen to 331 people; the number is expected to increase.
Some 348,400 people are in 541 evacuation centres across 8 affected regions.
Needs assessments are continuing in Mindanao.
