1. SITUATION OVERVIEW

• On or about 12:30 PM of 22 November 2012, an encounter occurred between the troops of 60th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army and New People's Army (NPA) at Sitio Mamaon Brgy. Pinan-tuno, Sitio Mamalian Brgy. Datu Balong and Purok Sentra Brgy. Monte Dujali of San Isidro, Davao del Norte.

• Three hundred (300) members of NPA were spotted at Brgy. Monte Dujali conducting checkpoints and pulong-pulong with the residents prior to the incident.

• As of 24 November 2012, the AFP together with the PNP are conducting clearing operation to the warzone to determine the presence of landmine.
