ACTIONS TAKEN:

• Local DRRMCs assisted in the immediate evacuation of residents and attended to their needs. Regional DRRMC-ARMM (TWG) have held emergency meetings to address the incident while the PNP continues with the clearing opns.

• RDRRMC with RG HATAMAN is to distribute 4,000 packs of Relief Goods to affected communities at 7:00 AM tomorrow (08 Aug 2012) once the Highway is declared opened and cleared.

• PRO-ARMM sent 34 PSB from the region to augment PNP Ampatuan.

• RDRRMC-OPCEN at OCD-ARMM in Awang with alternate OPCEN at ORG, ARMM is continuously monitoring the incident. Progress report to follow.
