Nay Pyi Taw, 25 Jan - A ceremony to hand over cash donation of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Government of the Republic of the Philippines as humanitarian assistance to the victims of the Typhoon Bopha in Philippines, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, here, today.

After conveying words of sympathies on behalf of the Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Wunna Maung Lwin handed over cash donation of US$ 50,000 to Mr. Bryan Jess T Baguio, Charge d Affairs a.i of the Embassy of the Republic of Philippines in Yangon who spoke words of thanks.

The ceremony was also attended by senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and staff members of Philippine Embassy.
