The National Emergency Secretariat (SEN) made the transfer of 1, 100, 000 liters of potable water to community water tanks, benefiting more than 1,000 indigenous and Latino families in the areas of the Pilcomayo River in the departments of Presidente Hayes and Boqueron. The action seeks to alleviate the needs of the inhabitants of Chaco, in regards to the drought that is occurring in much of the Western Region. The water will be for human consumption and for both animal and agricultural production. (OS: SEN)
