Pakistan: SCCI to provide machinery worth Rs.30 mln to the hospital in Balakot

The business community of Sialkot will soon provide machinery worth over Rs.30 million to a 100-bed hospital in Balakot.
President, Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Dr.Nouman Idris Butt while talking to APP said here Thursday that local businessmen are utilizing maximum resources for the rehabilitation of quake affectees.

Dr. Nouman further said that tents, medicines and blankets worth Rs.70 million had so far been dispatched to quake affected areas of AJK and NWFP besides daily use items. In addition to this, the businessmen of this city had already adopted 500 earthquake affected families and will spent Rs.36 million during one year, he added.

Apart from this, the local business community is taking active part in the construction of houses for quake-stricken people of Azad Kashmir and NWFP.
