I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES

• The number of people affected by the monsoon rains reaches 5.4 million with 824,000 displaced.

• Moderate monsoon currents still penetrating Eastern and Upper parts of the country and scattered rains are expected in upper Punjab, northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan in the next 24 hours

• The humanitarian community and the National and Provincial Disaster Management Authorities (NDMA/PDMA) are assisting the population in need.
