Situation Overview

  • 2011 monsoon season saw severe floods in Sindh and Balochistan, making 5.2 million people in need of humanitarian assistance. (Source: MSNA Sep. 2011)

  • More than 500 people perished and at least 797,000 houses destroyed, of which 328,555 got destroyed. (Source: MSNA 2011)
